J. F. Holmes The body of Joe F. Holmes, 74, Compton, Calif., who lived here until about 30 years ago, will be brought to Salina for burial. Funeral Plans will be announced early this week. Mr. Holmes, the brother of W. J. Holmes, 1115 S. Santa Fe, died Wednesday in Compton. He had lived in Marydel and Salina before going to the west coast. Mr. Holmes was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1877. Surviving are his widow, Clara, three daughters, Louise, Mrs. Charlotte Morris and Mrs. Mary Frances Anthony, all of Compton; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Henry, Inglewood, Calif.; and Mrs. Tom Stevens, Culver; and the brother there. |
